Terms and Conditions and Ordering Information

Orders

Orders can be placed via email or phone. Please use our online quote form , if you require a quote and we will respond to your shortly. Once you have emailed or called us with confirmation that you would like to proceed with your order and that you are happy with the price, we will then gather all your details and send you our completed booking form ( which will be completed with your details and cake order ) for your confirmation. Our Cake Booking form will also include instructions for payment.

Normally , we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice – subject to booking availability. This is dependent on our booking schedule as some months are booked well in advance. To avoid disappointment, please plan well ahead when organising your cake order. If you have an urgent cake order, please contact us to see if we can assist you.

Bookings , Deposit and Final Payment

Once your order has been confirmed and we have emailed you our Cake Booking Form, we would require a 50% Deposit booking payment of your total order amount to secure your position/booking. This deposit payment is non – refundable. The remainder 50% final balance payment is due 1-3 weeks prior to delivery. For orders that are placed in a short period notice , we require full payment to secure your booking

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for your convenience:

EFT ( Electronic Funds Transfer )

Direct Bank Deposit at any ST George Branch.

Credit Card ( Visa or Mastercard ) If making payment via the Credit Card Method , once we have confirmed your order and details , we will email you an Invoice for Payment via Credit Card. 3% credit card fee cover charge is applicable on this payment method. This is a secure online payment portal and your sensitive information isn’t shared with us. Unfortunately we no longer accept credit card payments over the phone.

Please note: When making payment via EFT or Direct Deposit , please leave your name or order number as your reference so we can identify your payment. Please allow up to 2 business days for payment to be received into our business bank account , this depends on your financial institution.

Cancellation

If you decide to cancel your order , all deposit booking payments are non- refundable as our bookings are limited and your deposit will be forfeited. We will then cancel your order in a cancellation email and remove you from our booking list, thus removing you from making any final payments.

Delivery

Delivery is available Monday through to Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and do not offer delivery on this day. Cakes are delivered within a 4-6 hour delivery time window and this is dependent on our busy delivery schedule. If you require your cake at a specific time we suggest you have your cake delivered the day before. Delivery charges vary on your location. Once your cake has been delivered, we accept no responsibility for any damages that may occur after delivery. It is your responsibility to follow the care and storage instructions on the box. Stated delivery times may vary due to situations that may occur out of our control such as traffic and road disturbances etc.

Colour matching

We cannot guarantee colour matching due to the nature of edible food colouring and ingredients used. We will always do our best to colour match within 3 closest shades of your chosen colour. Please send us a clear colour swatch of your required colour.

Designs

Colours may vary from picture to the actual cake as the result of the way your computer screen or mobile device portrays various colours.

Edible Image printing and colours

Printing of logos and photographs for edible image cakes and corporate logo cakes are printed with edible inks. Due to the nature of edible inks, some colours may vary to the original artwork.

Photographs

Personalised cakes takes pictures of all cakes that have been made. All cake images are our intellectual property, and we reserve the right to display and do as we wish with our images without compensation to you – which includes but is not limited to social media sites, our website, Facebook, promotional work and other forms of advertising.

Behaviour

Personalised Cakes will not tolerate any form of abuse toward our staff members at any given time. We reserve the right to terminate a phone call, take an order, terminate an order or decline a request if we feel rude or inappropriate behaviour is noticed.

Privacy

Personalised Cakes respects your rights to privacy under the Australian Law. All personal information is kept secure.Credit card information is not collected by us it is processed through Paypal. All information entered at the time of your order is only used to process your order. No personal details are shared or released to any third party or company.
